Transparent as a Dragonfly

"Transparent as a Dragonfly"

Consecrating the author of "invisible cities" is the intent of the exhibition "Transparent as a Dragonfly", a profound recognition of Italo Calvino on the centenary of his birth. The exhibition was born from the collaboration of Arte Borgo Gallery and ArtCan, placing at the forefront the expressive language of the artists influenced by one of the author's most significant texts "Invisible Cities".

An exhibition that goes beyond the Italian borders, presented in the exhibition space of Arte Borgo Gallery in Rome and continues at the Bermondsey Project Space in London, brings together the works of 36 artists united by linguistic interweavings whose role is comparable to the role of the reader of the novel who, tackling different themes, he concentrates in complex productions, reflections permeated by an intimate investigation from which his own individual creativity emerges.

United by similar introspection on places, on people, on memory, the artists provide a harmonious dialogue between space and works. An exhibition that celebrates an aspect of masterful coexistence through the pages of the novel and the works of the artists.
