The Fourth Dimension is the title of Paolo Mazzucato's solo exhibition hosted at the Arte Borgo Gallery exhibition space from 20 to 26 May 2023.

The artist presents a series of works in which his research presents itself as the need to return to making the individual reflect on his nature, on who we are, where we come from, why we are here. In physics, and in particular in the theory of relativity, the fourth dimension refers to time, a component that constitutes the unified four-dimensional space-time in which all the events of our universe occur and exist.

Fascinated by these dynamics, Paolo Mazzucato did nothing but transpose them into painting; his Art of the Fourth Dimension in fact unifies in one work the daughter projections of the artist's unconscious and of the universe, whose union distinguishes the dimension at the origin of human thought in space-time terms.

All this is expressed through artistic creations with a disruptive and hypnotic character, in which the various figures interpenetrate and follow one another without interruptions, occupying the entire space in the wake of a sort of contemporary horror vacui. The result is dreamlike spaces with an irresistible appeal, rich in chromatic and symbolic juxtapositions.
